About Haruhay – Resort

In 1986, the first little bungalow was built on one-hectare land belonging to Evelyn and Wolfgang, first intended for friends and relatives and the whole area was still surreal and moonlike at that time. Thanks to Evelyn and her „green thumb“, HARUHAY today is surrounded by a beautiful park and the feel of comfort of its garden scenery. A bungalow restaurant was built in 1989; no changes to the architecture have been made until today. In 1990, four more bungalows were constructed, the sand tennis court in 2003 and then the swimming pool was made in 2005. Recently we have added two more rooms and we are planning to construct more.

The gourmet food in the restaurant is concentrated on central Europe. (Gulasch with bread-dumpling, any kind of schnitzel, tenderloin with imported mushroom sauce, sweets from Austria.)

Since 2003, we have been serving thin crust pizza with toppings to your liking. Since 2011, we bake our pizza in a stone oven fresh and hot.

We also serve local foods like Pancit Canton, Pancit Bihon, and Filipino beefsteak.

Our special menu is served daily and on Thursday our famous Austrian Evening. All other nationalities are warmly welcome to come and attend the night.

More or less, we are a family-oriented business, with only a few employees, but they have stayed with us for ages, so they belong to the family. Our two daughters contribute their share as well.

In the next years to come, we are planning to make more investments and expansions, so we can serve our customers even better.

Wolfgang Pichler, a real original and veteran in Marigondon. He knows everything and everyone and can tell so many stories that you don’t want to leave Haruhay Dream Resort at all.
